1. Diagnosis: Assess the hair quality and select the correct lotion. 2. Preparation: Cleanse the hair without massaging the scalp. Towel dry to even out the hair before winding. Even the hair porosity by applying Natural Styling Hydrowave Pre-Treatment Balance spray through the lengths & ends prior to winding, comb through, do not rinse out. 3. Winding: Wind in the desired manner. Do not pre-dampen with lotion. Protect the hairline with damp cotton wool. 4. Processing times: Tinted, highlighted or porous hair*: 15-20 Min. without heat. Do not use heat. From 30-70%lightened hair: 7-10Min. Do not use heat. Do not exceed the maximum process guide time. Rinse the hair thoroughly for 5 minutes with warm water. Towel blot to ensure excess moisture is removed. 5. Neutralising: Always use Natural Styling Neutralisers and follow instructions of use. *NOTE: The first test curl should be taken after the minimum processing time. On very porous hair it is advisable to perform a strand test prior to starting the form treatment.
